The Informatica Feminale – the international summer university by women for women in computer science – will take place at the University of Bremen for the 29th time from 24 August to 4 September 2026.

The programme is aimed at female students from all disciplines and types of higher education institutions, as well as other women interested in computer science, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence. Courses and workshops are offered in German or English – from introductory topics and fundamentals to current specialised topics. The academic programme is complemented by a varied supporting programme including visits to research institutes and companies, excursions, lunch talks, networking events, and joint cultural and leisure activities.
